研究兴趣 :

我的研究方向是十八、十九世纪英国经济史，整体上属于英国工业革命这一领域。具体而言，我主要关注以下四个相互关联的方面：性别、家庭与劳动；童工与工业化；贫困、社会福利与新济贫法；以及交通运输、城市化与经济地理。

欢迎有志于从事经济史研究，尤其是研究方向与我兴趣相契合的同学与我联系。

I am an economic historian of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century Britain.

My research interest, broadly speaking, lies in the area of the British Industrial Revolution. Within it, I focus particularly on four related areas:

gender, family and work

child labour and industrialisation

poverty, social welfare and the New Poor Law

transport, urbanization and economic geography

I welcome enquiries from prospective students wishing to undertake research in economic history, particularly in fields aligned with my research interests.
